Bear Glass is the 4th generation family business specializing in starphire glass and mirror. We stock the largest inventory of Starphire® ultra-clear glass by PPG, which are offered in many thicknesses and sizes in both glass and mirror. Starfire glass, also known by the brand names low iron, Eurowhite, Opti White or Diamante, is a clear transparent glass that is almost tint-free. It achieves this effect because it is produced from higher quality grades of silica sand that are almost totally free of iron oxides

The process of etching ultra-clear glass or mirror now provides architects and designers with a truly unique design option. The translucent satin appearance can be achieved without the "greening" effect of ordinary clear glass.

Ordinary mirrors made with clear glass have a green tint. Starphire ultra-clear glass eliminates the green to create unprecedented radiance and incomparable clarity.
